Controlling Focus can Attract Abundance (Law of Attraction)

Here is a post that i found that i really liked about Law of Attraction and abundance. Leanna summed up our choices very nicely I thought.

Learn To Thrive In Any Economy Using The Law Of Attraction Unless you live under a rock you have heard the moaning and seen the hand wringing over the economy. Perhaps you too have spent more time then you choose to admit worrying about what might happen. You are surrounded with negative messages and fear. It is easy to allow that worry to fill not only your mind but your body as well. Most of us have heard about the Law of Attraction so we know that what we think about and more importantly what we feel about is what we attract into our lives. So what happens when a whole country is feeling about the same thing…specifically worrying about a depressed economy? Wow! Not pretty. It is so easy to get dragged along in the current of worried thoughts.

I have thought about this myself lately and it is more important than ever during times like these to find a way to stay focused on what you want.

The good news is that you have a choice. YOU choose what you focus on and feel. Not everyone will attract economic despair into their lives. There are plenty for whom this downturn will be the opportunity they use to build a wildly successful business or create streams of passive income. There are many who will use this time as the beginning of their financial abundance and success. The difference in these people is what they choose to focus on. They choose to focus on abundance, opportunities and to be thankful for the blessings they have. How do you choose to use this economic time? Will you look for opportunities and expect them everywhere? Will you find things to be grateful for every day?

That is one of the really important things to remember – we do have a choice of where we put our attention. We can listen to and read the news and talk to all our buddies at work about how aweful it is and how much petrol has gone up, and all that does is to make us worried and anxious.

Here are three simple steps to help you focus on what you want and attract abundance into your life.

The first step is to stop watching the news. If you must, read the news rather then watch it so it is less sensational. What I find from skipping the news is that I feel so much better about what is going on in my world. Besides if there is something I must know my friends will keep me informed. If this seems like too big of a step just skip watching the news for a week and see how you feel.

Couldn’t have said that better myself! I have been less and less connected to the news for several months now and I find I feel much better because of it. Someone really DOES tell me if there is something important going on, so there is no need for me to sit there and listen to that barrage of sensationalized junk. (I know, how do I REALLY feel!) I’d rather use my knowledge of Law of Attraction in a more productive way!

The second step to keep your focus on the positive is to spend a few minutes each day listing at least five things you are thankful for. Write them down in a journal or just state them out loud.

As a former Lifestyle Counselor myself, I am a big fan of journals. There is something about the act of writing that connects you with things that are important, whether it is a gratitude/abundance journal, eating/exercise diary or stress log. You find out a lot about yourself and it doesn’t take much of your time.

The third step is to catch yourself worrying. When you do, replace the worry with a simple affirmation. It may be…”I am well cared for.” “My life is full of abundance.” or “I see wonderful opportunities daily.” Just short thoughts which you can repeat over and over until you feel calm.

Worry is one of those emotions that keeps you connected with what you DON’T want in life, and finding a way to refocus your thoughts in a more positive direction can change everything! A good resource for helping to dissolve fear, guilt and worry can be found at brainspeak.com!

You do not have to join in with the fear and chaos around you. Instead your life can be a peaceful oasis if you choose to focus on what you want and the abundance you already have. No matter what the economy you will find opportunities and growth around you. Law of Attraction and Improving Feeling!

One of the things that I have noticed when talking to most people that have been exposed to the Law of Attraction, is how it immediately seemed to resonate with something deep inside. Like it was something that was always KNOWN but had been forgotten – and just HEARING about it made them feel incredibly happy. I know that is how I felt!

In my first encounter with Law of Attraction, it wasn’t actually CALLED that. A dear friend of mine that lives in Australia emailed me a copy of The Science of Getting Rich. I sat and read that little book all the way through, and kept saying “WOW – I always knew that was true, but I have never heard anyone SAY that before!” I felt like the meaning and focus of my whole life changed in that moment. It was sort of like the blue/red pill in The Matrix – once you learned The Truth, you could never go back to your old way of being. There was something about that knowledge that permeates your being.

As we all find out more about the Law of Attraction, we realize that feelings are the driver, the vibration, of what is brought into our experience. And the more intense those feelings, and the fewer conflicts that we have about having those feelings, the faster manifestation occurs.

I find that when I start slipping into darker thoughts, one of the best ways to refocus my attention on the life I am deliberately creating is to think about Law of Attraction and the power that it gives me over my own experience. Immediately I start to feel better.

There are lots and lots of ways to refocus our thoughts, but sometimes when I am in the midst of some old habitual patterns this method is much easier than changing the way I am thinking about the THING at that moment. Once I reconnect with the Power of Deliberate Creation, I find it difficult to even pick up the thread of my earlier, darker thoughts – which makes me happier still!

Law of Attraction – Can it Help with Weight Loss?

I found these videos on YouTube, and thought anyone who is struggling with Weight Loss might be interested too. There were some others from people that had lost weight and went on and on . . . I didn’t include those here because they were pretty long but if you are interested you can find them pretty easily! I picked these two videos because I love EFT for its simplicity and effectiveness, and I think affirmations can be very helpful in focusing your thoughts.

I struggled with my weight for a good part of my life. While attending boarding school for a year in high school (my family was living overseas), I gained somewhere between 40 and 50 pounds. I hated the way I looked, and thought about it every day of my life for YEARS after that. I was the classic yo-yo, losing and gaining. While it always felt so good to lose it, and I never thought I would keep it off – and I was right (doh!).

My self-esteem was pretty low. Regardless of how many achievements I made or friends that I had, I felt fat all of the time.

Then, after a series of life changes – moving, getting a different job, becoming interested in lots of things OUTSIDE of myself, I suddenly realized that I had been losing weight without even knowing it! I didn’t consciously change my eating patterns (although looking back I can see that I made better choices) or work at it – and I also realized that I hadn’t thought about being fat for months!

I believe it was a result of taking my focus OFF of being fat that allowed me to lose the extra weight. And that was well over 10 years ago now. I do put on a few extra pounds from time to time, but they never stay for very long. My sister made me a scrapbook for my birthday, and I was astounded by how I looked in a lot of the pictures – that just COULDN’T be me!! I realized that my whole mental picture of myself had changed, and I thought of myself as someone who had always been fit and trim.

And that was a really empowering change. I had not heard of the term Law of Attraction at the time, but I am positive that it was the force behind my transformation.

Law of Attraction – Is It A Law Or Not?

The intent of the Law of Attraction Secrets 101 blog is to explore the hot topic of “Law of Attraction” and the Secret about the Secret about the Secret stuff that you see all over the Internet! How many secrets can there be about the Law of Attraction anyway??

Together we can examine what the Law of Attraction is and how to take advantage of the KNOWLEDGE of Law of Attraction.

I do believe that Law of Attraction describes a principle by which the universe operates. However, having grown up in a very “scientifically” oriented family, I understand that there are a multitude of criticisms directed toward the Law of Attraction concept. Regardless of how many people claim that Quantum Physics PROVES its validity, technically that is just not true.

What it does do, however, is offer a theory that allows for the possibility of the existence of Law of Attraction. While I understand the position that science takes regarding the definition of a LAW, I also believe that just because the Law of Attraction hasn’t been proven in a concrete way doesn’t mean that it is not true.

I have never come across anything that disproves it to me. It just feels so RIGHT! So, for our purposes here we are going to look at Law of Attraction as a LAW, that is something that holds true all of the time, not something that holds true sometimes and not others. Or for some people but not others.

I can’t help but notice posts where people start off by saying Law of Attraction didn’t work for them . . . even the language they use to describe how they know it didn’t work speaks volumes about why it actually WAS working! It is all about what/where they are vibrating . . .

Anyone else notice that?

The secret Law of Attraction holds is not whether it works or not, it is in the knowing of its existence and how to raise your vibration so that it works to bring you what you want!
